What is little weirdos?

I know this will take several post's to explain but lets do the elevator pitchy one and then move from there:

Little Weirdo's is an exploration of the translation and transformation of hand drawn ideas into physical objects.

This is what the original little weirdo's project was about and it had kind of strict rules and ideas behind it. The goal was to every week for a year come up with an idea via drawing doodles in a sketchbook, selecting one, make a 3D model of that drawing, and then 3D print it and post process it if there is time, while also documenting the process and the learning's that come from that.

So naturally, wanting to share this with the world I turned to something like Instagram to share photos and videos of the process from start to finish of each little weirdo and inevitably got caught up in the platform and the perceived audience and how many likes things were getting and how I could make it more perfect, and thinking of ways I could change my behavior for more engagement and then spending too much time thinking and then it all stopped. This is simplifying it greatly but is related to the previous posts I've made.

So this blog and the site that it's attached to is a long slow process of migrating the project and the idea's behind it to a space I have control over, because ultimately I do want to continue this project and recognize there are bigger implications and questions I have around it and things I want to share that a singular platform cannot provide.
